AboutMyHealth.org, the hugely successful patient information site, has been revamped and now hosts EIDO’s new patient experience forum Your Journey; so named to capture the three key elements of a patient’s surgical pathway: their experience, what they have learnt from it, and sharing that with others.

Combining the best parts of the existing site with www.patientfeedback.org, patients will be able to get information about conditions, procedures and vetted websites as well as engaging with other patients to share experiences, information and get support about living with a condition or recovering after surgery.

The site also contains the evidence-base behind the INFOrm4U informed consent patient information leaflets. This is not only a benefit for patients, but a benefit for clinicians too, ensuring peace of mind knowing all of EIDO’s information is based on published, peer-reviewed research.
