1.1 This Privacy Policy describes how Specialists Management Services Pty Ltd trading as EIDO Healthcare Australia (referred to as EIDO) will process your personal information.

8.1.1 EIDO Systems International Ltd and EIDO Healthcare Ltd who provide infrastructure, support, and services to EIDO. 

8.1.2 External third parties such as:

8.1.2.1 service providers acting as processors who provide IT, system administration and support services, developers cloud service providers and payment service providers.

8.1.2.2 professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.

8.1.3 Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal information in the same way as set out in this privacy notice. 

8.2 We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal information and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal information for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal information for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions. 

8.3 Our websites may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave our website, we encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.

9. Where in the world do we transfer your personal information to?

9.1 Some of the third parties we share your personal information with are based outside Australia, including the United Kingdom. As a result, your personal information will be transferred to, or accessed from, outside Australia.

9.2 Whenever we transfer your personal information out of Australia, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded.

In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know it.

10.2 We have put in place procedures to detect and respond to any suspected or known personal information breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so. 

11. How long do we keep your personal information for?

11.1 We will only keep your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. 

11.2 To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the purpose(s) for which your personal information was collected, the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes without handling your personal information at all. We also consider where applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or other requirements. 

11.3 Details of the specific periods that we keep your personal information for are available in our retention policy.

11.4 In some circumstances we will anonymise your personal information (so that it can no longer be associated with you) so that we then use it for research and/or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
